On the 20th and 21st March 2007 we catered for 200 guests a day on the Dashwood Estate at West Wycombe. The brief was to have food available all day, from breakfast to afternoon tea, as guests could return at any time in one of the fleet of chauffeur driven Toyota's to the lodge at the EJ Churchill Shooting Ground.

The idea of the day was to give everyone a taste of the whole range of activities that can be offered by West Wycombe Corporate Entertainment. Those out for a thrill could try their hand at various driving activities, hill climbing, hovercrafts and the testing off-road driving course through the 5000 acres of the estate. Country pursuits on offer were fly-fishing, clay pigeon shooting and dog handling and even those who just wanted to indulge in sightseeing could look down on the estate from a helicopter or visit the palatial West Wycombe House.

Shooting or activity days normally run to a set format, which Touch of Taste is very familiar with. Since the mid eighties we have catered at West Wycombe for well over 1000 events and 25,000 guests. The open day catering started with delicious hot bacon rolls followed by lunch over an extended period, offering a range of bowl food from classic English dishes to flavours of the orient. Afternoon tea was a range of cakes, cookies and homemade chocolate brownies.

The two days were highly successful and the feedback so incredible that WWCE have decided to offer this shared multi activity day alongside their usual range of shooting and activity days.

This really is the perfect solution for those companies who want to have a go at an incredible range of activities, but don't have enough people to make it viable, or want to entertain clients or colleagues in style, but still keep within their budget.
